Thierry Ader is the Senior Director of International Cooperation and Offsets in charge of various countries in Europe, a position he has held since July 2015.

In his current role, as Senior Director of International Cooperation and Offsets, he is developing strategic initiatives in countries and raising Airbus presence and partnership to support the development of the aerospace industry.

Previously, Thierry was Global Sourcing Leader of Airbus Aerostructure Procurement and Supplier Relationship Manager for Turkish Aerospace and FACC (2012-2015). He steered the business opportunities for those suppliers while also developing a worldwide global strategy for procurement sourcing’s

Before that, he enjoyed a 6 year experience (2006-2012) as Multi-Functional Team leader in Electrics procurement and a role of Lead buyer for EADS managing negotiations, contracts and suppliers’ strategy for a portfolio of electrical standard parts.

Thierry began his career in 1997 as a project engineer for the automotive equipment supplier Siemens Automotive, an electronic systems supplier for all major OEMs.

During his 9 years of experience in the automotive, he worked 4 years as a designer on sensors projects, then 5 years in various procurement functions as well as Corporate Commodity Manager representing the automotive business unit on Siemens AG level for negotiations.

Thierry Ader, born 1972, is graduated from the Engineer National School in Tarbes in 1995.
